Q. What megapixel camera do I need? |
| a. Any camera with 2.5 megapixels or better should work, as long as you are taking your photos at the best quality setting on your camera. If you are unsure of the setting on your particular camera, consult your owners manual. |
Q. What does “file type” mean? |
| a. “file type” refers to the format that you save your photos as. The most popular digital photo file type is jpeg. |
Q. What file type should I send? |
| a. The best thing to do is send us your photo just as it is on your camera. If you are making adjustments to your photo before sending it we prefer JPEG, TIFF, or RAW. |
Q. Why do you prefer certain file types? |
| a. We like certain file types more than others because of the quality to file size ratio. There are some file types that have a little better resolution than jpeg, but their file size makes them too big to send over the internet. |
Q. What resolution is the best? |
| a. The ideal resolution is 300ppi, but we rarely work with files of that resolution. If your file is more than 1mb you should be fine. If we have any problems with your file we will let you know before we print. |
Q. What if my file is larger than 10mb? |
| a. If this is the case please contact us and we will discuss with you the best way to get your file to us. |
Q. I use iphoto & I can’t find my photo to upload, where it is? |
| a. Files are stored in ~/Pictures/iPhoto Library on your Mac OS X drive. Starting with version 1.1.1, your original filenames are kept If you already had images in the photo library, their names will not be changed. |

Q. Will my photo on canvas be stretched? |
| a. All photos on canvases include gallery wrap stretching! |
Q. What does gallery wrap mean? |
| a. Gallery wrap refers to the type of stretching we do, where there is image wrapped around the sides and the canvas is attached to the back of the stretchers. |
Q. How do I take care of my photo on canvas? |
| a. If possible your photo on canvas should be kept out of direct sunlight and can be cleaned with a feather duster or a soft cloth. Never use water or cleaning solutions. |
Q. Can I send someone a gift certificate? |
| a. Yes! We have Gift Certificates available. Click on the “Gift Certificate” link for more details. |

Q. Can I see a proof of my canvas before you print it? |
| a. Yes! We can email you an e-proof of your photo before we print it for a nominal fee of $10.00. Just click "Yes" in the checkout process where it says "Pease Email me an e-proof of my photo". |
Q. Can I get my photo on canvas in a special size? |
| a. Yes, we do custom orders. Just contact us and let us know what you would like. Depending on the size you pick there may be additional charges for your custom order. |
Q. Can I have a photo on canvas made from a print, slide or negative? |
| a. Yes! All you need to do is select “I do not have a digital photo, please send me a photo mailing kit” while placing your order. When we receive your order we will send you a prepaid photo mailer kit with further instructions on mailing us your photo. |
Q. Will my finished photo on canvas look like the image on my computer? |
| a. Every computer displays color differently, so it's hard to say. But, we check the color of every photo that comes in to make sure your photo on canvas will look it's best. |
Q. What about copyrighted materials? |
| a.Copyrighted material cannot be reproduced without permission from the copyright holder. We will contact you if there is any question of the copyright. If the copyright cannot be verified we reserve the right to turn down the order. |
Q. What if i made a mistake & need to cancel my order? |
| a. If you made a mistake or need to cancel your order contact us right away, and we'll do what we can to correct it. |

Q. How soon will my photo on canvas ship? |
| a. Most canvases leave our studio within four business days. Custom orders may take a little longer. |
Q. What shipping method do you use & how long does it take? |
| a. We ship FedEx Ground, Home, & Express. Check out our shipping page to see our transit time map. |
Q. Can my photo on canvas be shipped to a PO box? |
| a. Sorry, FedEx does not ship to PO boxes. |
Q. How can I get a tracking number for my shipment? |
| a. you will receive an email with a tracking number when your order ships or you can log into your account and view the status of your orders, as well as the tracking number. |
Q. What if I am not happy with my photo on canvas when it arrives? |
| a. If we have mixed up your order, there is a defect or it was damaged in shipping, let us know right away. We will do what we can to make it right. See the returns page for more details. |
